what a wonderful morning in our home. Girlies were so happy about their gifts :) Sarah got her Easy Bake oven that she wanted to get for a while now and she literally screamed when she opened the present. She already used it and I must admit the cookies taste yummy. She says she would like to work for Cake Boss one day or be cake boss herself ;) Mia got almost 200 my Little Ponys of course counting all the accessories that came with it. And of course they got clothes and Play Doug and Books and lots of candy. Wonderful Christmas. For the rest of the day I am going to relax and watch cooking shows on Netflix instant watch :) I love to cook and I always like getting new ideas and try new things. I hope you guys are having a wonderful Christmas Day. Relax and eat a lot and be thankful for little things.

you cannot even imagine how frustrated I am. Today, almost 2 weeks after girlies dad passed away we have received a letter, letter from the president. Nothing personal just some printed and sealed letter. I do not even know why I am this upset, he didn't mean to do us any harm, yet this anger I am feeling...don't have words for it. I think the anger comes from the fact that he started to pull the troops out of the war zone about a week after Ryans death. He had all the time to do that, yet decided to wait for so long.
So many lives could have been saved if he would not waited until the last minute. Now all he does is send us a letter saying how sorry he is, he probably does not even know the latter has been sent to us.
Sorry Mr. President but I didn't have anything against you until well just recently. So I am not going to send you a "thank you" card because you probably won't even get it or read it. You may care about the troops and their families in your own way, but while you are spending this Christmas with your own family and having the best from the best remember that there are many families in this country who are still grieving their loss of a loved one. Families who will make a trip to the grave of their dad, mom, son, daughter instead of giggling and smiling while watching movies on TV. Hope you are enjoying yourself.

Christmas is here again and this is my first ever NON white Christmas. Outside we still have almost 70 degrees, in the past couple of days we were close to 80. Sun is shinning and bird are singing, feels more like spring instead of Winter, not mention Christmas. All I have to say to myself is welcome to the South :)
Everybody in my house is already awake and the girlies are asking me every 5 minutes when Santa is finally going to come?! I told them when they wake up, so silly girls want to take a nap ;) My Roast is in the slow cooker since last night and I am about to start preparing the rest. My Red Velvet Cupcakes are in the fridge and they look delicious and taste even better. My Scentsy warmer is warming amazing Festival of Trees scent and it feels like we have a real Christmas Tree at home. So wherever you are in the world, have a very Merry Christmas. several days ago I saw a post from a friend of mine on Facebook stating that there was a bad accident. House of a single mother of 2 burned down here in SC. The mother and her children lost everything. It is already a tragedy to lose everything you ever owned, but losing it 4 days before Christmas....I just couldn't imagine. Without thinking long, I have offered my help and started to E-mail my friends from all over the US.I am very proud to say that today I was able to donate many large boxes that were full of clothes, toys, food, household goods, and many other stuff for the family. It is amazing how a small community and how people who never met the person are willing to help. People who paid out of their own pocket to pay for the shipping, thank you Wibke. People who made extra trips just to pick up and drop off all the goods. None of us expects anything in return, we simply take a "thank you" as a payment and a simple pay it forward.
So pay it forward friends, do something nice for your neighbor, friend, spouse, or just a simple smile to a stranger can make a huge difference in their life. Try it, it really works.
